Dr. Jacqueline Abisror is a licensed acupuncturist in New York, board certified by the NCCAOM, with a private practice in Manhattan.  She was awarded an artist grant to attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she received a Bachelor of Fine Art with a concentration in metalsmithing, jewelry and small sculpture. She went on to study yoga and meditation for many years with incredible teachers who she holds dear to her heart. Passionate about the body, mind, and soul connection to our mental and physical health and the intrinsic way the body holds information, she merged worlds and received a Master’s of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. In training, she studied three different styles of acupuncture: Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM, Kiiko Matsumoto KM which is a Japanese style using palpation and specific release techniques , and Acupuncture Physical Medicine APM, based on the myofascial research of Dr. Janet Travell and Dr. Mark Seem. After years in private practice, Jacqueline saw how critical it is in bridging the gap between Eastern and Western medicine and earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She specializes in women’s reproductive and hormonal health, autoimmune with acute and chronic pain conditions, orthopedic and sports injuries, digestive concerns, mental health and facial acupuncture.

Jacqueline is currently moving into her third year of deep alchemical study and mentorship with the great alchemists Lorie Eve Dechar and Benjamin Fox. She also deepened her knowlledge of herbal medicine with Dr Aviva Romm focusing specifically on women’s health. Earned a Sports Medicine Acupuncture certification with Matt Callison and has completed over one hundred hours of advanced facial acupuncture training with leaders in the field, Dr. Shellie Goldstein, Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, and Michelle Gellis. Jacqueline has also studied Neurofunctional Acupuncture with Dan Wunderlich and did a year long study with the internationally renowned martial artist, Chinese medical practitioner, educator and author, Tom Bisio furthering her skill and knowledge in the traditional art of Tui Na.
